Who we are

Tread Lightly! is a non-profit organisation promoting the responsible use of motorised vehicles for outdoor recreation. Our goal is to balance the users’ need for adventure with the need to conserve the places where they ride and explore. To support this, we offer a wide range of training courses to promote a responsible outdoor recreation message. Tread Lightly! in the United Kingdom is represented by THE TREADLIGHTLY TRUST, a registered charity number: 1133154.

The Green Lane Association

The Green Lane Association is a national not-for-profit organisation founded in 1995. The Association is dedicated to promoting inclusive countryside access for all users through education, physical works, and legal action. Our core belief is that everyone has a right to access the countryside and share multi-user public rights of way without prejudice to ability or method of travel.
